Catching crawfish in the creek with the boys and their friends? I'm in.
Carnival rides? I'm getting on.
Parents vs. kids football game? I'm definitely tackling my own son.
Recruiting kids and parents from the park to join our random Moms vs. kids kickball game.
Organizing a random soccer game for all their friends on a Sunday afternoon? Already sending out the group texts at 7:30am.
I love it.
I want to be a good time WITH my kids, not just plan a good time FOR them.
I want their friends to feel comfortable at our house. I want the chaos, the laughter, the random kids showing up, and the last-minute plans.
Because as they get older, I'd much rather have a house full of kids, knowing where they are and who they're with, than wonder what they're out doing.
If being the fun mom means my house becomes the hangout house, I'm all for it. 🤍
