Goals Without Pressure
Every year, in the last yoga class before the year ends, my instructor hands each of us a small zipper pouch with a few pieces of paper and invites us to write one goal for ourselves, a friend, a loved one, and one for the world.
No pressure. No timelines. Just intention.
That simple practice always reminds me to check in with my own goals. As a mom, it’s easy to put ourselves last, to feel overwhelmed by big expectations. I don’t call them “new year goals” anymore. I just call them My Goals—because they change as I do.
Some of my goals are simple and realistic: read more, move my body more, eat less fast food, and pay down debt. Others are softer—be more present, protect my energy, respond with more patience. All of them matter.
Over the years, I created a customizable vision board in Canva that I use as my phone and computer background. It’s always there, gently reminding me what I’m moving toward without adding pressure. Because seeing your goals can be just as powerful as writing them.
That’s why I created Two FREE Vision Board Templates in Canva and shared them with you. Let me help you focus on goals that feel supportive, not stressful. No dates. No fear of failing. Just My Goals—meeting you right where you are.
